Romantasy Games is a card-based role-playing game for couples that brings the spicy scenes from your favourite books to life.
Designed to help couples connect, explore, and feel empowered in a way that’s fun, spicy, and free from awkwardness, it’s perfect for anyone wanting to express their desires without hesitation. Whether you’re a book lover or just curious to try something new, Romantasy Games is for everyone looking to add a little more connection, intimacy, and magic to their relationship.

How do you play the game?
Bringing your book-inspired fantasies to life is easier than you think - just follow these four simple steps!
- Go Through All the Cards
Start by going through all the cards together with your partner - discuss what you’re comfortable with and remove any cards you'd prefer to avoid. - Pick Your Cards
Select a mix of Mood, Verbal, and Physical Cards to create your unique fantasy scenario. - Present Your Fantasy
Place your selected cards into the 'Create Your Fantasy' envelope and hand it to your partner. - Enjoy the Magic
Let your partner bring your fantasy to life, adding excitement and anticipation to your connection.
Every game is unique, and there’s no right or wrong way to play - just have fun and enjoy the anticipation!
Do I need to be a Romantasy fan to enjoy the game?
Not at all !
While Romantasy Games is inspired by the romantic fantasy genre, it’s designed for anyone who loves connection, playfulness, and intimacy. Whether you’re an avid reader of romantasy books, a casual romance fan, or not a reader at all, the game offers something for everyone.
It’s perfect for sparking new ways to connect with your partner, even if they’ve never picked up a book from your shelf. The goal is to bring the magic of connection and shared moments to life - no reading required!
Is the game suitable for beginners or shy players?
Absolutely! Romantasy Games is designed to be approachable and adaptable for everyone. Created by a booktrovert, with booktroverts in mind, it helps you express and explore your desires without the awkwardness - making it easier to say, “Let’s try this!” without pressure or discomfort.
You and your partner set your own boundaries and pace, so you can start with light and playful interactions and explore more as you feel comfortable. Make it as spicy as you want - every round is an opportunity to explore, connect, and enjoy.
Is Romantasy Games inclusive for all couples?
Yes! Romantasy Games is thoughtfully designed to be enjoyed by all couples, no matter your relationship, dynamic, preferred pet names, or go-to phrases.
While we have included common trope phrases like “good girl,” “good boy,” and “good ____,” the rest of the cards are intentionally crafted without gender-specific language.
It was our goal to create a game that anyone can adapt and enjoy in a way that feels authentic to them, allowing couples to tailor the experience to their unique relationship.
What inspired you to create Romantasy Games?
As a passionate romantasy reader, I fell in love with the intimacy, tension & spice of my favourite books. Like so many others, I dreamed of stepping into those moments and sharing them with my real-life partner.
Then I saw readers on BookTok and Bookstagram asking their partners to recreate spicy scenes or repeat favourite phrases. It looked fun, but as a booktrovert, it felt a little too daunting.
That’s when the idea for Romantasy Games hit me. I wanted to create something that made it easy to bring those book-inspired fantasies to life without the awkwardness. Something that empowers you to express & explore the spice in a way that feels fun, comfortable and effortless.
Romantasy Games was designed for us - the readers who swoon over fictional moments and want to explore that same spark in real life.
Will there be expansions or new editions?
Absolutely! We have so many exciting ideas for future expansions and new editions of Romantasy Games.
From themed card packs inspired by iconic tropes and sub-genres to potential collaborations with beloved authors, there’s plenty in the works!
Plus, the First Edition box was designed with space to fit future card packs, so you’ll be able to expand your collection seamlessly.

Where do you ship from?
We ship all orders from Sydney, NSW, Australia.
How long does shipping take?
We process all orders within 3 business days before dispatching from Sydney, NSW.
Estimated shipping times (after dispatch) for major AUS cities:
- Sydney: 1-3 business days
- Brisbane: 2-3 business days
- Melbourne: 2-3 business days
- Adelaide: 3-5 business days
- Hobart: 4-7 business days
- Perth: 6-8 business days
- Darwin: 7-14 business days

- We cannot ship or deliver on weekends or public holidays.
- We are now trialling shipping to USA, Canada & the UK - which can take between 6-27 days depending on the destination.
- Please note: Import duties, VAT, and other taxes may apply for international orders and are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are not collected at checkout.

We proudly ship Australia wide, and are currently trialling shipping to the following countries:

What is your returns policy?
We want you to love your purchase, and we take pride in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Returns and refunds will only be considered for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items - unfortunately, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.
If there’s an issue, here’s what to do:
- Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
- Contact us within 14 calendar days of receiving the item so we can help.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be faulty, damaged, or contain incorrect items.
- Be unused and in its original condition.
- Be in its original packaging (with individual items unopened).
- Include a receipt or proof of purchase.
Important Notes:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
- Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
