But you can call me Mon! I’m an introverted interior designer from Sydney, Australia, a proud book lover, and the creator of Romantasy Games.

Growing up, I was captivated by epic tales like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, etc. Like so many others, I continued to love to read but sparingly. But my passion for reading was reignited with the discovery of A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) - thank you, Sarah J. Maas! I truly fell in love with reading all over again and couldn't stop!

I had no idea these books would be spicy when I started, but I was... pleasantly surprised haha! That rabbit hole led me to incredible authors like Rebecca Yarros, Carissa Broadbent, Scarlett St. Clair and Callie Hart, whose worlds, characters, and *fans self* romantic moments had me hooked!

Then came BookTok & Bookstagram. I saw readers asking their partners to recreate iconic scenes or repeat phrases from their favourite books. It looked like fun but also a bit too daunting for a booktrovert like me.

that’s when the Idea for RomAntasY gamEs hIt me

What if there was a way to make these moments more playful, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone?

So, I created this game for us - the readers. For anyone who dreams of stepping into the delicious interactions we read about in our favourite books and sharing that magic with their real-life partners.

Romantasy Games is designed to help couples connect, explore, and feel empowered in a way that’s fun, spicy, and free from awkwardness. I wanted something that would make it easy to say, “Let’s try this,” without the pressure of asking or demonstrating.

I’m not a game designer or a sex expert - I’m just a reader, like you. A woman who loves to get lost in fictional worlds, with a loving husband, two cats, and a TBR that’s forever growing. My hope is that Romantasy Games brings a little more connection, intimacy, and magic into your life, just like the books that inspired it did for me.

Saucy, intimate and so much FUN!

This is such a fun game to play with your partner! The cards for us opened up some really interesting and connective dialogue between us, things we couldnt communicate before easily in intimate times. 10/10 reccommend ♡

This is so fun!

This is the perfect game for someone who wants to talk about their fantasy and desires, but still gets embarrassed or tongue-tied. When it's a game it takes the pressure off, and for my husband and I helped bring back the element of fun, which is so important to us. Also, it is so gorgeous and discreet. Hidden in plain sight, which is so cheeky!!

SO GORGEOUS AND FUN!!!

purchased this as a Valentine’s activity for my me and my partner, and it was 100% worth the hype! it was our first time trying something in the “role-playing” space, and we loved how easy it was to follow and how much it opened up conversation as well :) not only was it fun, it looks beautiful on my bookshelf! Fingers crossed some expansion packs drop in the future to keep the game going! 10/10 would recommend.
